Arne Slot declares that Liverpool’s promising youngster is “very good” and anticipates becoming a consistent starter.
Arne Slot has expressed his confidence in Conor Bradley’s ability to establish himself as a consistent fixture for Liverpool in the future. Bradley had a
successful 2023-24 season with the Reds, following his success on loan at Bolton during the previous campaign. He appeared in a total of 23 games, contributing six assists and scored one goal. An injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold increased the 21-year-old’s opportunities. Bradley has fallen behind Alexander-Arnold in the right-back pecking order this season. The Liverpool vice-captain has started all seven Premier League games and is once again anticipated to be in the starting lineup for Sunday’s match against Chelsea at Anfield. Bradley has continued to impress when he comes off the bench, and he has been awarded the most prestigious international honor by being named the captain of Northern Ireland at such a young age. And while it is presently challenging to secure a consistent playing schedule, Slot believes that the full-back has the potential to do so in the future.
During his post-match press conference, Slot stated, “I believe he will have a bright future because he is a very talented player, and Liverpool is in need of very talented players.” Last season, he performed exceptionally well when he was required to replace Trent, and Trent has since played extensively. However, Trent is a formidable opponent, and despite the fact that he is a highly skilled player, it is customary for exceptional players to gain entry into the team. I anticipate the same from him in the future at this institution. Last December, Liverpool signed Bradley to a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
