The 23-year-old, who was linked with Liverpool over the summer, was signed from Everton in January 2023 and has since become a critical member of Eddie Howe’s squad, contributing 11 assists and netting 15 goals in 74 appearances. Gordon participated in the Champions League for the first time last season, during which he also made his senior England debut. Subsequently, he was a member of the team that finished as runners-up at Euro 2024. Gordon expressed his renewed dedication to the club by stating, “I simply believe that the club is in a fantastic position.” It has been steadily increasing since the acquisition.
