Reports say that Manchester United has made an offer of £45 million to sign Everton back Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.
Since Erik ten Hag wants to improve his defense this summer, the Red Devils have made Jarrad Branthwaite one of their top targets.
According to The Mail, they have made an offer of £45 million for the back, but Everton is not likely to accept it as they have no plans to sell the 21-year-old this summer.
Man United isn’t the only team interested in Brathwaite this summer, though. Newcastle United has also been linked with a move for the former Carlisle United player.
Recently, Gareth Southgate put together a preliminary 33-player team for Euro 2024. However, when he announced his final 26-player squad, Brathwaite was taken off that list.
There shouldn’t be any problems with the defender’s personal life if a future offer is accepted. However, Everton is said to be worth £80m, so a £45m bid is a long way off.
