The injury news for Arsenal’s match against Liverpool is as follows: six players are out and five

are in doubt following their return to training. On Sunday, Arsenal will host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in a significant Premier League match. Mikel Arteta has acknowledged that he is still dubious as to whether Bukayo Saka, Riccardo Calafiori, and Jurrien Timber will take part in the match against Liverpool on Sunday, following their return to training. Liverpool has emerged as the Premier League’s leader following an impressive start, while the Gunners are four points behind after eight games. The Reds defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Anfield, while AFC Bournemouth defeated them 2-0 in their most recent match. Calafiori was substituted in midweek during the Champions League’s 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, while Saka has not featured since suffering a minor injury while on international duty with England. Timber has not appeared since his withdrawal from the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain prior to the international break.

Arteta stated on Friday, “We will make every effort to ensure that they are accessible; however, the situation is highly uncertain.” [Saka] has conducted some grass training. The extent to which we can transport him to Sunday is a distinct issue. We have an additional day, which is a positive development; however, we shall determine the outcome. [Calafiori] requires additional testing. He consumed a portion yesterday, and he will consume additional portions today. Subsequently, we will be informed. We were severely disappointed with his performance the previous time, and he proceeded to play for an additional two or three days. Therefore, we should evaluate the situation. Again, Timber is permitted to participate in the inaugural session. We anticipated that he would be further behind than he is at the present, as he has been out for an extended period; however, we must continue to monitor his condition. In the meantime, Liverpool is confronted with a number of their own injury-related issues. Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota, the goalkeepers, are expected to be absent from the voyage to London. Federico Chiesa and Conor Bradley are currently uncertain about their participation. In reference to the outfield trio, Reds manager Arne Slot stated on Friday, “I believe they are in good spirits; however, they are not playing for us over the weekend.” Federico may train with us today or tomorrow; however, Diogo will not. Additionally, we should determine whether Conor Bradley is available to join us tomorrow. Regarding Alisson, who sustained an injury while clearing the ball against Crystal Palace prior to the international break, Slot stated, “He is making satisfactory progress, as anticipated.” It is consistently challenging to evaluate him. I believe that the most accurate assessment of an injury is during the final stages of rehabilitation, and he has not yet reached this point. I am unable to provide an estimate of the duration of his absence; however, it is unlikely that he will be available for the cup match against Brighton or the following week.
