Arsenal is considering a January transfer for Premier League star Mohammed Kudus in response

to a challenging first ten league fixtures. Meanwhile, The Mirror reports that Leandro Trossard is being linked to a move to Saudi Arabia. Kudus and his former club, Ajax, were both willing to wait to see if a deal could be struck with the North London club before making his £40M switch to West Ham United last summer. However, financial restrictions prevented any prospect of a potential move to The Emirates. Consequently, Kudus may finally relocate to London for the latter half of the campaign. Many members of the Arsenal fanbase have become weary of Trossard’s recent performances, as the Belgian international is presently experiencing a goal drought that dates back to September. The winger was dispossessed 11 times, failed to attempt a single cross, and did not register a shot on target in Newcastle’s unexpected victory over the Gunners on Saturday.

Kudus is presently suspended throughout London as a result of his red card for violent behaviour. During West Ham’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last month, the attacker was sent down the tunnel as the sole scorer for his team after he unleashed an angry rant at Micky van de Ven. Kudus’s appearance at The Emirates to witness Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over current Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League “league phase” was not the only noteworthy event he participated in in North London in October. This event elicited excitement from many Arsenal fans. Arsenal, who are currently seven points behind the league leaders, Liverpool, and five points behind Manchester City, will likely need to follow the example of their fellow title contenders in wrapping up business during the winter window in order to secure the league trophy in May.
