Four (4) key things learnt as Boston Celtics wins their match against Charlotte Hornets again on saturday at NBA

The Boston Celtics beat the Charlotte Hornets 113–103 on Saturday, their second straight win over them. LaMelo Ball, the All-Star point guard for the Hornets, played well, but the Celtics won in the end because of their strength and style of play. These are the five things I learned from the contest:

1. The Celtics’ supporting players did their jobs

The win was made possible by Payton Pritchard, Luke Kornet, and Jrue Holiday. Pritchard found his rhythm from beyond the line. He made four of his six three-pointers in the second quarter and finished with 22 points off the bench, shooting 8 for 15 from the field. Kornet played a perfect game. He made all seven free throws and went 6 for 6 from the field. Holiday, on the other hand, was reliable and productive, especially in the fourth quarter when he scored 13 points, passed the ball six times, and grabbed five boards.

2. Problems in the third quarter

Coming out of halftime, the Celtics had a rough stretch that let the Hornets go on a 17-2 run. This cut Boston’s 18-point lead at halftime to just three points. Before the third, Boston’s three-point shooting was good, but it wasn’t in the third. They only made two of fifteen shots from beyond the line. Even though they were in a slump, the Celtics stuck to their outside game instead of going for the basket. This is something they may try to work on in future games.

3. People aren’t missing Grant Williams.

Fans can feel good about Boston’s current lineup after seeing how poorly former Celtic Grant Williams played on Saturday. Williams only scored five points and committed five fouls. He was having trouble being consistent and making good decisions, including a foul that seemed questionable on former friend Jayson Tatum. This show showed that Boston has moved on without him without a hitch.

4. The Celtics do well without Jaylen Brown

All-Star wing Most Valuable Player Jaylen Brown missed the game because of a flexor strain, but the Celtics didn’t miss a beat. The fact that they jumped out to a 19-point lead in the second quarter shows that they are still a strong team even without one of their stars.
