Manchester City was unable to regain their winning form in their most recent Champions League match.

Pep Guardiola’s team secured a comfortable 3-0 lead in the second half against the Dutch club after suffering five consecutive defeats.
However, they were ultimately defeated by a trio of goals in the final 20 minutes of the match, resulting in a 3-3 scoreline and a single point.
Following the match, a member of City’s squad who participated for the majority of the game disclosed his observations regarding his team’s most recent performance.

Nathan Ake addressed the media after his team’s defeat in the final 20 minutes, after having played 69 minutes before being substituted for Jahmai Simpson-Pusey.
He stated the following in an interview with Amazon Prime Video Sport. He mentioned that it was “difficult.” We were in control and had a 3-0 lead, but the situation abruptly shifted.
“You must maintain your mental fortitude.” They continue to press after 3-1, but I believe we should have initiated the attack earlier to maintain the pressure.
However, we continued to play at the back, which may have contributed to the increased pressure.
“Then, when you concede the second one, the pressure is even greater, and we must remain mentally fortified.” The Dutchman responded, “Yes, I believe we did,” when asked if he believed City gave the game away.
If you are leading 3-0 at home, it is impossible to concede in this manner. Presently, it is as it is. Fighting back and maintaining our fortitude are our sole options. “When you are three goals ahead, it feels like a defeat when you concede three goals at home.”
