Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes is concerned about his injury ahead of their match against Crystal Palace, as nine players are ruled out of the match.

Oliver Glasner and Eddie Howe are both confronted with significant selection challenges this weekend as Crystal Palace prepares to host Newcastle United at Selhurst Park.

The Magpies are determined to exorcise the demons of their disappointing 2-0 loss to West Ham on Monday night as they travel to the capital.

Howe’s team was granted only five days to recover from their defeat to the Hammers, which resulted in a cessation to their three-match winning streak.

They will now travel to Selhurst Park. In addition to the wounds that were inflicted on Monday night, there are concerns regarding the fitness of Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock, who both exited the pitch after receiving injuries.

Although Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier returned to the matchday squad, Howe was given a boost.

Additionally, Dan Burn, who was suspended on Monday, will be reinstated to the squad this weekend.

Palace, on the other hand, has only secured one victory in their 12 Premier League matches this season, despite securing a commendable point at Villa Park over the weekend.

Daichi Kamada will serve the second of a three-match suspension, and they will undoubtedly be without a number of players who are recuperating from long-term injuries.

Before Newcastle United’s match against Crystal Palace on Saturday (3pm kick-off), we examine the injury and suspension updates from both teams.
