Arsenal is interested in signing a “World-Class” player, but his agent is outraged with his current club.
Arsenal has entered the competition to acquire Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, whose counsel is dissatisfied with the Bundesliga club’s conduct in contract negotiations, as reported by TBR Football.
Davies has had a successful season in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals as a left-back thus far. He scored seven goals in this category during the previous campaign.
The Canadian has not yet executed a new contract with the Allianz Arena, which has resulted in a substantial amount of interest from prestigious clubs across Europe.
The most probable suitors are Real Madrid, while Liverpool has been reported to be interested in disrupting Manchester United’s pursuit of Davies.
Arsenal is reportedly interested in acquiring the 24-year-old, as his representatives have informed English clubs that he is seriously considering a move to the Premier League next year, according to TBR Football. Davies is being pursued by Arsenal. Several left-backs are already at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
TBR Football has reported that the Gunners have been placed on high alert by the player’s representatives, and the most probable destinations for Davies are Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal.
Bayern’s conduct during contract negotiations has led to the frustration of the marauding full-back’s entourage, who have informed the North Londoners that he is amenable to a transfer to the Premier League.
Arsenal had previously believed that the five-time Bundesliga champion would join Real Madrid if he were to leave Bayern. However, they now have a chance to secure his services after his agents informed them of the player’s intentions.
Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jurrien Timber, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Myles Lewis-Skelly are among the players that Mikel Arteta has at his disposal who can be deployed at left-back. However, the opportunity to sign Davies, who is regarded as world-class, may be too tempting to pass up.
