The Porto manager has criticized the Arsenal star after the on-loan midfielder was excluded from the matchday squad.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira was excluded from the squad for a victory over Boavista on Saturday, prompting criticism from Porto manager Vitor Bruno.
In the summer of 2022, Arsenal acquired the former Portugal Under-21 international from Porto for €40m, and he inked a long-term contract with the north London club.Nevertheless, Vieira only made five Premier League starts in his first two seasons at the Premier League club.
Under Mikel Arteta, the 24-year-old made 49 appearances in all competitions, primarily from the substitute. In the summer, Arsenal loaned the Portuguese midfielder back to Porto in the hopes that he would demonstrate improved performances.
However, this has not been the case, as Vieira has contributed two goals and two assists in 15 appearances for the Dragões this season across all competitions.
