Arsenal may extend an offer “within the forthcoming days.” While Arsenal is expected to submit an offer for Ronald Araujo “in the next few days,” it is improbable that they will propose the €70-80 million that Barcelona may seek for his transfer.

Juventus was the initial club to take action, presenting an offer of €35 million for his acquisition. That was unequivocally dismissed by the board of directors of Barcelona.

They would only consent to a sale for a sum ranging from €70 million to €80 million. It is yet to be determined whether Juventus will extend an offer at that price. They are contemplating increasing their proposal to a minimum of €50 million. In the interim, other clubs may take action, and Arsenal is among those being considered.

They are also pursuing the defender, and it is believed that they may extend an offer within the forthcoming days. This development would be favourable for Barcelona, as they regard Arsenal as a club capable of aligning with their ambitions to secure a substantial financial return for the defender.

The Catalan club is currently in a state of anticipation, during which they aspire for Arsenal, Juventus, and any other interested clubs to present a financial proposal that meets their expectations.
