‘We have lost Him’: Pep Guardiola broke down in tears as He confirm His Top transfer target have snub Man city to join Arteta side Arsenal
“We have lost him,” Pep Guardiola sobbed as he confirmed that his top transfer target had rejected Manchester City in order to join Atleta. The ArsenalWest Ham and Arsenal are reportedly engaged in negotiations regarding the terms of a £105 million acquisition agreement for Declan Rice, as reported by the Daily Mail.In recent weeks, the Gunners have been frantically attempting to reach an agreement with the Hammers, ever since Mikel Arteta identified Rice as his primary target for a transfer this summer.
Following the rejection of two proposals by Arsenal, Manchester City entered the bidding process with an opening offer of £80 million plus £10 million in add-ons. West Ham promptly rejected the £90 million offer; they have been demanding at least £100 million for their captain.
Arsenal have now submitted a third improved offer, and several media outlets, including The Athletic, indicate that the Gunners have presented a sum of £100 million plus £5 million in add-ons. This brings the club-record bid of £105 million above the initial valuation set by West Ham.Nevertheless, according to Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel, the Hammers remain dissatisfied with the deal’s structure. West Ham desires to pay the fee over a two-year period, whereas Arsenal prefers to pay it over a five-year period.
Mokbel reports that the two clubs are currently embroiled in negotiations this morning in an attempt to reach a settlement, but he says “everything is in motion.” He shared tweets.
This morning, negotiations will proceed regarding Arsenal’s £105 million offer for Declan Rice. The current agreement structure is not satisfactory to West Ham, but a deal is still possible.
Considering that the payment structure still requires resolution and not the magnitude of Arsenal’s offer, the Gunners are advancing toward a moment when they can make a significant impact in the transfer market.
However, Man City remain in contention and are anticipated to present an enhanced offer of their own, thus Rice’s future remains uncertain for the time being.Leading commitment
Rice is considered one of the Premier League’s finest midfielders. His contribution was crucial as West Ham defeated Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League earlier this month to claim their first championship in 43 years.
Despite finishing 14th in the Premier League, the East Londoners have qualified for the Europa League for the following season by virtue of their Europa Conference League victory. The 24-year-old made fifty appearances and contributed to nine goals across all competitions for West Ham during the previous campaign.
Orkun Kokcu, Mason Mount, Moises Caicedo, and Martin Zubimendi have all been linked with a transfer to Arsenal; however, Rice remains the club’s top priority, and West Ham and Rice may reach a mutually beneficial agreement shortly.
