Press secretary Karoline Leavitt informed reporters that Harvard must adhere to federal law, as the president has explicitly stated. “He also desires to see Harvard apologise, and Harvard should apologise for the egregious anti-Semitism that occurred on their college campus against Jewish American students,” she continued.

Harvard rejected a plethora of demands from the Trump administration on Monday, which it claimed would result in the school being under the control of a conservative government that portrays universities as perilously leftist.
