The 49ers have formally announced the signing of six UDFAs; will any of them be able to make the team? Six undrafted free agent signings were officially announced by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, bringing the total number of first-year players on their 90-man roster to 17. their 90-man roster will also be fully populated. The 49ers are particularly intrigued by this group of UDFAs, as they should all have genuine opportunities to join the team. Future Prospects: In San Francisco, it is never advisable to dismiss an undrafted rookie running back. Kiner will face an uphill battle to secure a roster position; however, his capacity to generate yards and run through contact renders him an intriguing player to observe during training camp. In three seasons with Montana State, he achieved an impressive 23 tackles. When he relocated to Washington, his productivity experienced a significant decline, as he recorded only 19 pressures and two sacks. According to Pro Football Focus, both of those scores represent career lows. The 49ers may also be interested in cultivating Valdez as a reserve defensive lineman in the future.
