Both of the Penn State stars, Nittany Lions will be on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame in 2026.

There is a possibility that two legendary Penn State players will soon be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Courtney Brown, a defensive end, and Ki-Jana Carter, a running back, were two of the 79 players that were nominated for the 2026 ballot by the National Football Federation College Football Hall of Fame. The list was revealed on Monday afternoon. After having outstanding careers in Happy Valley, it is anticipated that both athletes will be granted approval.

Both of the Penn State stars, Nittany Lions will be on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame in 2026.

During his final year of college football, Brown, who had played for Penn State from 1996 to 1999, was considered to be among the best players in the whole of collegiate football. In addition to being selected first overall in the draft in the year 2000, he was also honored with the title of Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and received unanimous All-American honors.

He concluded his career with 33 sacks, which was the record for the NCAA at the time and continues to be the record for the most sacks in the history of the Penn State program. Brown’s senior year saw him rack up 13.5 sacks, which places him in fourth place among all-time Nittany Lions.

The Cincinnati Bengals selected Carter with the first overall choice in 1995. Carter was also the first overall pick. From 1992 to 1994, he was a member of the Penn State University Nittany Lions, and during his junior year, when the team went undefeated, he was recognized as an All-American by every single coach. As a way to finish off his college career, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player award in the Rose Bowl.

It is now the case that Carter has the fourth-most career rushing touchdowns of any Nittany Lion. Carter’s 1994 season had the third-most rushing yards and the second-most rushing touchdowns in the history of the program.
