The Parkhead faithful undoubtedly embraced Kieran Tierney’s return to Celtic.
Tierney was finally proclaimed by Celtic yesterday afternoon, following months of anticipation since Rodgers’ confirmation that the former Arsenal player would be returning to Paradise in February.
Celtic announced the Tierney news just 30 minutes prior to the official unveiling in order to pique the enthusiasm of the Hoops fanbase.
And Celtic supporters were ecstatic to learn that Tierney was once again an official Bhoy, and the news was made formal.
Arsenal supporters responded to the news by sending Tierney some classy messages, expressing their well-wishes for the new Celtic defender over the next five years.
@AFCGally expressed his admiration for Tierney and advised him to “take care of him.” Professionally exceptional; I wish you the best of luck, KT. And @TomN5_ sent a message of gratitude to the Celtic defender, stating, “Thank you for everything, KT.”
One Arsenal fan is evidently devastated by the loss of a player whom he considers to be one of the finest in the Premier League team. He stated, “I am devastated.”
Another Arsenal devotee, @RobXafc, expressed his disappointment by asserting, “There is only one Kieran Tierney.”
Arsenal supporters will have the opportunity to witness Kieran Tierney’s debut for Celtic during a series of summer friendlies. There are several occasions on which Tierney will don the green and white Hoops for the second time.
