Barry Sanders, an NFL legend, maintains that the Detroit Lions are still capable of reaching the Super Bowl, despite the departure of both the offensive and defensive play-callers who have been critical to their recent success.
Sanders disclosed his sentiments toward the Lions, the team with which he established his Hall of Fame career, during an interview with Newsweek regarding his forthcoming documentary, “The Making of a Heart Attack.”
Barry Sanders acknowledged that the team would undoubtedly be without Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson, but he also asserted that the team’s core is capable of driving them to victory.
“They played a significant role in our accomplishments.” We are aware of the qualities of both of those individuals. I believe that we were able to accomplish this by focusing on the nucleus and the critical components. It is primarily still present. Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson will undoubtedly be missed; however, we are confident in the offensive and defensive components we possess, particularly in light of Hutchinson’s return.
