Ross Doohan has signed a new three-year deal with Celtic.
The custodian, who is 27 years old, was most recently with Aberdeen, where he played 20 times over two years.
By 2022, he had only played four times for Celtic in six years. He then joined Tranmere Rovers, where he had been on loan. After that, he played for Forest Green Rovers and then the Dons.
Doohan went on loan to Greenock Morton, Ayr United, Ross County, and Dundee United while he was at Celtic the first time. The custodian has played 169 times for his club team. He made his debut for Scotland against Liechtenstein on the road this month, a 4-0 win.
Goalkeeper Scott Bain left Celtic to play for Falkirk, and now Doohan has joined the team. One of Brendan Rodgers’ first team goalkeepers is Kasper Schmeichel, and the other two are Viljami Sinisalo, who is his backup.
