A new five-year contract with Arsenal has been signed by Lewis-Skelly.

Lewis-Skelly has executed a new five-year contract with Arsenal. After signing a new five-year contract with his boyhood club, England defender Myles Lewis-Skelly expressed his desire to establish a “legacy” at Arsenal.

Lewis-Skelly made 39 appearances in all competitions and established himself as a regular under Mikel Arteta after breaking into the first team last season. The 18-year-old’s previous contract was scheduled to expire in 2026.

This month, he earned his third cap for England in a 3-1 loss to Senegal. Lewis-Skelly stated to the Arsenal website, “I am determined to achieve every possible victory in the game.” “I aspire to achieve trophies on the most significant stages while maintaining a sense of humility and perpetually learning, which is of the utmost importance.”

Since making his Premier League debut as a substitute against Manchester City in September, Lewis-Skelly has excelled at left-back, with the ability to transition into midfield. He was a central midfielder in Arsenal’s academy. He achieved the most impressive record of any player who has made at least 15 starts in the Premier League, as he was only dribbled past once.
