Barcelona has purportedly reached a personal agreement with Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, and Marcus Rashford has reportedly expressed his sentiments.
Rashford, 27, was on loan at Aston Villa during the latter half of the 2024/25 season; however, his future remains uncertain. Williams, who is 22 years old, may shortly be playing for Barcelona. Barcelona has reached a verbal agreement with Athletic Club’s Williams, as reported by The Athletic.
The club does not consider the forward’s €60 million (£50m, $62m) release clause to be an obstacle to a deal this summer. Despite Arsenal’s interest, Williams, who is right-footed but typically plays off the left flank, will face competition for a starting position in Barca’s squad. Raphinha, a Ballon d’Or contender, seized the position as the Catalans achieved a domestic treble last season.
