After the move is finalised, Hayato Inamura will don the same shirt number as a Celtic legend. The fifth acquisition of the summer has been disclosed by Celtic.
The Hoops affirmed Hayato Inamura just moments before the first friendly of the season against Queen’s Park. Celtic has acquired the defender for £250,000, following Inamura’s departure from Albirex Niigata,
in which he composed a farewell letter to the club’s supporters. It is anticipated that Inamura will be sent out on loan to familiarise himself with the Scottish game, as he has only become a professional six months ago. However, this could potentially serve as a long-term addition to Brendan Rodgers’ squad. Hayato Inamura’s initial remarks as a Celtic player Inamura stated to Celtic TV following his arrival,
