The Serie A club has reached an agreement to purchase a property for £17.2 million. Celtic poised to capitalise on Newcastle United’s pursuit of a winger
The Magpies have submitted an enhanced offer for the Swedish international after Forest rejected their initial proposal for Elanga. Forest is reportedly considering an offer valued at approximately £55 million.
Elanga has been Newcastle’s primary objective this summer in order to enhance their right wing. Despite their previous unsuccessful attempts to acquire him, they have continued to explore the possibility of signing him. Movement in other parts of Europe may restrict their options if an agreement for Elanga is not reached, as negotiations continue.
This is due to the fact that Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn, whom the Magpies have previously observed, is reportedly on the brink of joining Serie A club Como. Kuhn had an exceptionally successful campaign in Scotland last season, contributing 21 goals and 15 assists across 51 games across all competitions.
