New shirt numbers will be worn by Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi, two youth players from Manchester United, when the game resumes.
Fredricson, a central defender, is transitioning from the 55th position to the 33rd position after making significant progress during the previous season.
In April, the 20-year-old Academy graduate made a professional Premier League debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers and also began the away game at Brentford.
Despite the fact that the young striker Obi only completed his transfer from Arsenal’s Academy in November, he made such an impression at the junior level that he was introduced for his senior debut in the away game against Tottenham Hotspur last February.
The 17-year-old scored his first senior goals in the 3-1 post-season friendly success against Hong Kong, China and performed well for Denmark’s Under-20s at the Maurice Revello Tournament over the summer. Consequently, he only returned to Carrington on Thursday.
He will now wear the number 32 for the forthcoming campaign, which commences with a friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on Saturday, July 19, after previously donning the number 56.
The certification of these most recent modifications follows the announcement that Diogo Dalot will assume the number two position and Matheus Cunha will assume the number ten position.
Additionally, new squad slots have been allotted to young players Shea Lacey (61), Bendito Mantato (70), and Reece Munro (65).
