Manchester United has a long history of loaning out their best young players, and Jack Moorhouse is the latest player to do that in order to play for the first team.
Famous reporter Fabrizio Romano says that Moorhouse has signed a new contract with United and will now go on loan to Leyton Orient for the season.
Several clubs were interested in loaning him, so the choice was made.
At the youth level, Moorhouse is one of the most talented midfielders. United wants him to play regularly with the first team, which is why they sent him on loan to a League One team.
Last season, Leyton Orient lost in the League One playoff final and will be trying to get back into the league this season.
The 19-year-old is thought to be one of the best midfielders at the school and is expected to become a star at Old Trafford.
He first played for United’s Under-18s team when he was 15 years old.
The manager, Ruben Amorim, also thinks a lot of the young player and used him in a few gameday teams last season.
Moorhouse is mostly used as a number 10 for the U21s, but he is also good at playing box-to-box.
A lot of people also say that he’s like the great midfielders Paul Pogba and Morgan Rogers.
Manchester United will keep a close eye on his growth and hope that the loan spell helps him get into the first team under Amorim.
In the past few weeks, loan moves have already been set up for Dan Gore, Sonny Aljofree, Joe Hugill, Elyh Harrison, and Radek Vitek.
Ethan Wheatley and Ethan Williams are likely to be the next young stars to go on loan to get valuable practice with the first team.
