“Only one greedy” Newcastle United supporters slams Alexander Isak with a brutal message over his misconduct in Liverpool transfer interest

Newcastle United began their Premier League season with a 0-0 stalemate against Aston Villa at Villa Park, despite the absence of Alexander Isak.
Eddie Howe, Newcastle’s head coach, announced on Friday that Isak would not be participating in the season opener and may not return to the club due to Liverpool’s interest in him.

Isak’s strike at Newcastle has resulted in his removal from the first-team squad for the past month, as a result of the interest.

Newcastle’s season opener was overshadowed by the narrative, which proved to be a source of frustration for Howe’s team, as they were unable to field a recognized, established striker in their matchday squad.

Anthony Gordon was the starting forward for The Magpies, who missed numerous opportunities in the match against a Villa team that was reduced to ten players for the final phases as a result of Ezri Konsa’s red card.

Newcastle’s traveling supporters remained by the players’ side throughout the game and continued to acclaim them after the full-time whistle. Once the competitors began to depart the field, the situation began to change in Isak’s favor.

Alexander Isak is the target of Newcastle United supporters’ emotions.
The fans’ tone shifted to a refrain that was almost certainly directed at their absent No. 14 after they chanted Gordon’s name during an interview with TNT Sports.

The 3,000 traveling supporters’ frustrations with their striker were evident in their boisterous chants of “Only one greedy ——-.”

Newcastle manager Howe responded, “I believe so.” when asked about the chants following the contest. We were never in any doubt that the supporters would be behind us. It is always a beautiful moment for me to go over to the supporters at the close of the game.

“I will refrain from expressing a strong opinion regarding the chants.” The team was supported by the supporters, which was a significant request that they fulfilled with remarkable success.

“They are at liberty to express themselves at a later time.”

“I am still open to the possibility of the player returning to the squad, and I am eager to find a resolution to the [Isak] situation.”

Eddie Howe addresses the media subsequent to the Aston Villa stalemate.
During the match, Howe stated, “I believe we deserved more based on the manner in which we played.” We were exceptional during the initial half; however, we were unable to score.

“That was not our most successful period in the game until the red card was issued.” I cannot find any fault with the players today; I believed they were exceptional.

“The day was exceedingly hot.” I believe that we encountered difficulty in maintaining the momentum and intensity of our game. The host team will always have a period in the game, but I believe we played well defensively. At the conclusion, we were determined to emerge victorious.
