Name of the two (2) English Premier League clubs that moves to hijack Celtic 38-year-old target Jamie Vardy

Right now, the Scottish Premiership champions are the subject of significant transfer speculation. Vardy was initially reported to be “desperate” to join with the Hoops.

Sky Sports subsequently clarified that Celtic and Vardy have not yet communicated; however, there is still time for this to occur.

Celtic are in need of an additional high-quality striker, and as the deadline approaches, they may be willing to negotiate a deal.

Nevertheless, it seems that they will be in competition with two Premier League clubs that are able to offer Vardy a higher salary than Celtic.

Everton and Brentford have made “offers or inquiries” regarding Vardy.

Vardy’s situation has been briefly discussed in a report published by The Daily Mail, which indicates that the veteran forward is not in a rush to determine his next club.

The Premier League legend is currently in Portugal, where he is maintaining his fitness. According to the publication, Everton and Brentford have either made an offer or inquired about Vardy.

The report indicated that Jamie Vardy is not in a hurry to make a decision regarding his next club.

“The 38-year-old is currently training in Portugal to maintain his fitness after departing Leicester. He has received numerous offers or inquiries from teams such as Napoli, Rangers, Celtic, Everton, and Brentford.”

“He has the option to join clubs outside of the window as a free agent.”

Vardy may be convinced by the prospect of playing in the Champions League at Celtic.
Everton and Brentford, as previously indicated, are expected to be able to offer the most money among the clubs that are reportedly interested in Vardy.

Rangers are without a chance; however, Napoli, the Serie A champions, could pose a threat to the English duo, as they will undoubtedly participate in the Champions division’s division phase.

Celtic are on the verge of achieving this, but they must first defeat Kairat Almaty in two play-off legs in order to secure their spot for the second year in a row.

According to Roger Hannah, Vardy’s primary preference is Celtic. If Champions League football is included, the 38-year-old should have no difficulty making the decision.
