Ederson informed Man City’s YouTube channel that he was unable to converse with them due to the expedited process of transferring to Fenerbahçe. He only bid farewell to a few players and staff members, and he conversed with Pep over the phone.

“I informed him that I would return to bid everyone a proper farewell.” He replied, “Of course, of course,” as he reflected on the eight years, the numerous moments, the numerous trophies he had won, and the difficult moment he had just passed.

“However, we remain together on each occasion.” It is of the utmost importance to me, him, and the club that I return to bid everyone farewell.

Ederson will always be warmly welcomed back to the Etihad Stadium in recognition of his contributions to the Manchester club, particularly his involvement in their historic treble-winning season.

Ederson also regarded the 2022/23 season as his most successful season at Manchester City. He was particularly pleased of his contribution to the reintroduction of the treble to the Etihad Stadium.

“Indeed, it was the most exceptional season.” I am referring to the trifecta, which has been achieved by only two teams. Two teams made history: [Man] United and [Man] City. “I am a part of history, and the team is also a part of history. That is all,” the custodian stated.

During the 2022/23 campaign, Ederson appeared in 48 games for Manchester City, maintaining a clean sheet on 19 occasions and conceding 39 goals.
