The Wolves officially release clause of the Norwegian footballer Jorgen Strand Larsen following Newcastle United’s proposal of £55 million.

Jorgen Strand Larsen, a transfer target for Newcastle United, is currently in negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers regarding a new contract.

In response to Newcastle United’s potential transfer interest, Wolverhampton Wanderers are seeking to secure Jorgen Strand Larsen with a new contract. It occurs less than three months after the 25-year-old finalised a permanent transfer from Celta Vigo to Wolves for a sum of £23 million.

Strand Larsen scored 14 goals in 30 Premier League appearances for Wolves during the 2024/25 season while on loan.

Newcastle also expressed interest in him following his impressive debut season in the Premier League, which prompted Wolves to initiate a permanent transfer.
