Newcastle United’s most recent updates: Newcastle United’s Under-18s emerged victorious in a seven-goal contest against Liverpool’s Under-18s over the weekend.
The Newcastle United Under-18s maintained their exceptional start to the season with a 4-3 victory over Liverpool on Merseyside on Saturday. The Magpies secured a victory and a modest measure of revenge following the senior sides’ battle at St James’ Park last month, thanks to a goal scored by Kacey Wooster in the 89th minute.
At one point during Saturday’s match, the Magpies held a 3-1 lead, but an early goal from Finn Inglethorpe was overturned by goals from Matthew Taylor, Alfie Seldon, and Wooster. Nevertheless, the hosts were able to regain parity in the second period as a result of goals from Schofield Lonmeni and Joe Bradshaw.
The match appeared to be headed for a stalemate until Wooster scored the late winner for Chris Moore’s team. Newcastle United’s Under-18s have now won four of their first five matches of the new season as a result of this victory.

Moran was selected for Moore’s starting lineup on Saturday and participated in 67 minutes of the match before being replaced by Lesecond Yeutembip with his new team leading 3-1. Moran is capable of operating as either a central midfielder or a center-back.
Following Saturday’s match against his former club, Moran returned to Instagram to share a photo of himself in action, accompanied by the caption, “Great feeling to win in the last minute there.”
The Newcastle United U18’s and Moran now have more than a week to unwind and recover before their upcoming U18 Premier League match against Stoke City U18’s at Newcastle United’s training ground on Saturday, September 27. A week later, they will travel to Bodymoor Heath to play against Aston Villa. They will then return to the north east, this time to the Academy of Light, to compete against Sunderland U18’s in a Wear-Tyne derby. Sunderland U18 secured their inaugural victory of the season with a 3-0 victory over Derby County over the weekend.
