Big Moves From Celtic in 2025
Celtic have seen some notable exits this year. Kyogo Furuhashi was the first to depart in January, and come the summer window, Nicolas Kuhn also left Parkhead – sealing a move to Serie A side Como.
The German winger linked up with club icon Cesc Fabregas in Italy and was handed his first start on Monday night in a showdown that pitted Fabregas against his former Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira.
Kuhn’s Impact in His Como Debut
Celtic fans will remember Kuhn’s dip in form toward the end of last season, but his Serie A introduction was a positive one. Rising star Nico Paz opened the scoring with a spectacular long-range strike, with Kuhn involved in the build-up.
The ex-Celtic man showed flashes of his trademark direct play – racing almost half the length of the pitch before being denied in a one-on-one later in the game. Fabregas eventually subbed him off with Como in front, but late drama followed. A red card for the hosts swung the momentum, and Vieira’s side snatched a 92nd-minute equaliser through Caleb Ekuban.

All in all, Kuhn played a part in much of Como’s attacking work. If he can find consistency, the 24-year-old still has the qualities to shine brightly in Italy.
