football wide receiverAmon-Ra St. Brown picks out Lions teammate as the NFL’s most underrated player

The Detroit Lions stunned the NFL on Monday Night Football with a 38-30 upset over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. Leading the charge was 28-year-old running back David Montgomery, who put on a show with 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries, leaving fans buzzing about his performance.

A few days later, Montgomery joined Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown on their podcast to reflect on the game. During the conversation, Amon-Ra didn’t hesitate to crown his teammate as the league’s most underrated player.

“Thanks for coming on, D-Mo. We love you, bro,” Amon-Ra said, joking about Montgomery being late to the recording. “You’re a beast — most underrated player in the NFL, I’m telling you. He’s not just a power back; he can do everything — make plays in space, catch passes out of the backfield — whatever you need, he delivers.”
