“running scared” Scottish footballer and coach Peter Grant gave a full description on the rumors of Steven Gerrard returning to Rangers as their head coach and how Celtic F.C. is reacting to it

There have been numerous outrageous allegations regarding Celtic’s fear of Steven Gerrard’s potential return to Rangers.

The Gerrard hoopla is a direct result of the single title he secured in 2021, which he used to halt Celtic’s pursuit of a ten-game winning streak.

Celtic and Rangers faced an anomaly during the COVID-19 season, as the Parkhead club collapsed and Gerrard’s team discovered that they could secure a championship without any supporters present at Ibrox or any other Scottish stadium.

And as the former Liverpool player appears to be on the brink of returning to Ibrox to face Celtic once more, Peter Grant adeptly dispels the Gerrard hoopla.

Rangers are informed by Peter Grant. Gerrard is not causing Celtic to “quake in their boots.”
Grant was discussing the imminent arrival of Gerrard to Rangers when Paul Cooney reminded the Celtic legend that his return would not cause the Hoops to flee in fear.

On The Go Radio Football Show [56m 31s], Cooney stated, “However, Celtic’s consequences are uncertain.” And I heard you say in the first hour that they won’t be quaking in their boots if it’s Steven Gerrard.

“No,” Grant replied, “because why would you?”

Cooney: “They are not going to be.”

Grant: “Ultimately, you will be participating in football.” I have never been concerned. I was unable to identify the Rangers’ manager during my time playing.

Cooney: “I suspect you could have.”

Grant: “However, I was not being disrespectful.” I was not enquiring as to its identity. The primary focus was on… Remember the arrival of the Sooners and all that. We were aware that they had exceptional performers.

“Ultimately, we are aware that we must demonstrate our abilities in order to surpass them.” We were aware of this.

“There was no escape from that at that particular moment.” Needless to say, Celtic have evidently observed the situation. You are deceiving yourself if you assert that the situation is entirely different.

“However, Celtic’s players are of high quality.”

The Gerrard/Celtic absurdity is not even believed by Tom English.
Rangers fans have been praising Gerrard for several days, while Celtic fans have been oblivious to the fact that they were clamouring for his head after Hamilton defeated them 1-0 at Ibrox prior to the COVID-19 lockdown.

And that reality is not lost on BBC journalist Tom English, who reminded the Ibrox support, “They have a memory of him winning the league, and it was a very impressive league.” But Celtic was experiencing its own existential crisis under Neil Lennon, and there were no supporters in attendance.

“And the Rangers dominated the league, winning every game and then cruising to the finish line.” That is what they recall.

“They do not recall the adverse events that transpired during Steven Gerrard’s tenure.” They do not recall being struck unconscious. In his three and a half seasons, they secured only one trophy.

“He was eliminated from cups by St Johnstone, Aberdeen, St Mirren, and other teams that you would anticipate they would defeat.” Therefore, I believe that Rangers fans are employing rose-tinted spectacles when discussing Gerrard.

Brutally accurate by the BBC individual, and this is precisely what Celtic supporters have been expressing for years.
