Mohamed Diomande has been excluded from Rangers’ Premiership match against Dundee United.
Tomorrow, the host team will be led by Steven Smith, the under-19s coach, while Jim Goodwin’s team will be the guests at Ibrox. Kevin Muscat has reached an agreement to assume the role of permanent manager; however, the former Rangers left-back is currently in charge.
Smith anticipated being in the dugout at the first-team level during his press conference this morning.
Additionally, he disclosed that midfielder Diomande has been excluded from the squad that played in Russell Martin’s final match in command, which resulted in a draw with Falkirk.
He stated, “I am extremely at ease with my work style.” I am at ease with the prospect of undergoing training and assuming this position this week.
“Diomande is the sole player from the Falkirk game who will be absent for tomorrow’s match.”
