Norwich City have officially fired their head coach Liam Manning

Norwich City have confirmed the dismissal of head coach Liam Manning following their 2-1 Championship defeat to Leicester City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The 40-year-old, who hails from Norwich and grew up in Bungay, leaves the club after just five months in charge.

During his tenure, Manning oversaw a club-record run of eight straight home defeats and became the first Norwich manager in 16 years to lose an East Anglian derby to Ipswich Town.

Assistant coach Chris Hogg and first-team analyst James Krause have also departed alongside him.
