BREAKING: Rangers manager speaks on potential January striker signing

Rohl on January transfers: No decision yet on signing a new striker

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has declined to confirm whether the club will pursue a new centre-forward in the January transfer window. Despite the limited impact of his current options, Rohl believes he can get more from the strikers already at Ibrox.

Summer signings Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski have struggled to meet expectations, with Chermiti scoring just once and Miovski twice. Danilo, at the club for over two years, has also failed to find consistent form, leaving fans frustrated.

Rohl, however, is focused on building confidence and improving his current players. “I see good moments. I see things that we need to improve. At the moment I have three players, I try to give them opportunities, minutes, and belief,” he said. “I’m always talking with them and telling them what they need to improve. If we’re growing as a group, we’re also growing individually.”

Asked about his progress in finding a best starting XI, Rohl said: “You look closer and see which players have potential and which need to improve. With just eleven players, we will not win. There are a lot of games; we need to use the full squad. That is why I try to improve everyone.”

He also praised standout performances, highlighting Mikey Moore’s recent form: “He made a huge step, he scored today. Other players scoring also shows we’re going in the right direction.”
