Rangers boss Danny Rohl has addressed the growing speculation surrounding a potential striker signing in the January transfer window, as questions continue to mount over the form of Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti.
The duo, who cost a combined €11.5 million in the summer, have managed just three goals between them this season. Their struggles continued during Rangers’ 3-0 win over Dundee, where Nicolas Raskin, Mikey Moore, and Djeidi Gassama were the scorers.
Speaking after the victory, Rohl suggested that significant new signings in January were unlikely, instead urging his current forwards — including Danilo — to rediscover their confidence.
“I see good moments and things we need to improve,” Rohl said. “At the moment, I have three players. I try to give them opportunities, minutes, and belief. We’re growing as a group and also individually.”
The German coach also praised Tottenham loanee Mikey Moore for his progress and impact since joining the team. “Mikey has taken a huge step forward — he scored today and it’s great to see other players contributing as well,” Rohl added.
While Rohl remains supportive of his current options, it’s expected that Rangers will continue to be linked with new forwards ahead of the January window — especially if their goal drought persists.
