Sport journalists brutally slams two Rangers F.C. player Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski and gave key reason why they should not be playing for the club anymore

Rangers may have blundered by making permanent moves for Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski in the summer window.

According to Daily Record journalist Graeme Young, the club’s decision to spend sizeable fees on both forwards has become a “major issue” at Ibrox. He notes that Kevin Thelwell heavily pushed the deal for Chermiti, raising questions about the sporting director’s judgement after spending around £8million on the ex-Everton striker.

Concerns over Chermiti & Miovski

Young argues that both players look more like temporary loan additions than long-term signings.
Miovski’s strong period at Aberdeen initially made his transfer seem sensible, but the struggles he experienced at Girona have followed him to Ibrox. Meanwhile, Chermiti’s injury-plagued time at Everton and hefty price tag mean patience will be limited.

Sources have told Ibrox News that Chermiti has drawn interest from Braga and other European clubs, and Rangers could consider cutting their losses.

Recruitment doubts grow

After Danny Röhl’s recent comments, concerns have also surfaced about whether chairman Andrew Cavenagh will trust Thelwell with more funds following a summer in which the sporting director approved 12 signings—most of which have not delivered.

With another squad overhaul looming, Young believes these misfires will force Thelwell to be far more cautious in upcoming transfer windows.

Speaking on Game On (14 November), Young summed up the situation:
“I think Chermiti and Miovski being permanent signings is a major issue. They look like loan signings, both of them.”
