What happened that caused chaos during Coventry City match clash with Middlesbrough on Tuesday as three arrest was made

Three people were taken into custody after disorder broke out following Coventry City’s match against Middlesbrough on Tuesday at the Riverside Stadium. Police responded to reports of trouble shortly after Coventry’s 4–2 victory.

Two of those arrested have been released on bail, while the third will return voluntarily for further questioning. Authorities are now working with Middlesbrough FC to improve security measures for future fixtures at the stadium.

The individuals detained include two 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man, all accused of public order offences. According to Cleveland Police, “An 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys were arrested for public order offences at the end of the Middlesbrough vs Coventry match on November 25.


Two additional people will be reported for summons. The incidents occurred inside the Riverside Stadium, and we will continue to work closely with Middlesbrough FC to investigate and prevent similar incidents in the future.”
