Dujon Sterling: Rangers defender reportedly arrested after Glasgow car incident post-Old Firm

Rangers defender Dujon Sterling has been charged following an alleged car crash in Glasgow just hours after the club’s Old Firm victory.

Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle incident on West Graham Street at around 1.25am on Sunday, January 4. The 26-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences and is expected to appear in court at a later date.

No injuries were reported following the incident. Images from the scene show damage to the front of the vehicle, deployed airbags and a section of metal safety railing missing.

Sterling had earlier played an important role in Rangers’ 3-1 win over Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday. The result brought Danny Rohl’s side level on points with their rivals after previously trailing by nine.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the details of the incident, stating that the driver had been arrested and charged and would appear in court in due course.

Rangers have been contacted for comment.
