Donovan has withdrawn from the Scotland Under-21 squad ahead of key UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifiers, prompting late changes from head coach Scot Gemmill.
The right-back had initially been selected for upcoming fixtures against Czechia Under-21 and Portugal Under-21, but has now dropped out alongside Cameron Bragg and Kristi Montgomery.
In response, Gemmill has called up Ryan Carr, Josh Dede, and Taylor Steven as replacements.
