The former Liverpool player didn’t think Rashford played well in the first half of Saturday’s game against Brentford.

“Walking around like it’s a bit of fun” was what Jamie Redknapp didn’t like about Marcus Rashford during the first half of Manchester United’s game at Brentford.

When United tried to attack, Brentford had 14 shots in the first half, which was only the second time since they were promoted to the Premier League that they had that many. Rashford hasn’t had a great season, and he had a hard time getting the ball in the first half.

As a whole, Redknapp criticized United’s lackluster effort and criticized the striker for not moving around enough. He told Rashford to be smarter and have more energy during his eight-goal season.

After the half, Redknapp said on Sky Sports, “I think Man United fans would have been really looking forward to tonight.” After a great game against Liverpool, they might be able to turn around their season.

“They have been so bad tonight that I can’t believe they don’t want to win their own battles to make things happen.” I’m looking at Rashford. He’s walking around like he’s having fun.

“It’s the Premier League, you need to win games.” We can’t believe how bad United has been.

United only had four shots on goal in the first half, and neither Rasmus Hojlund nor Alejandro Garnacho had a good look at goal. In the two matches England played during the international break, Rashford only played 15 minutes and didn’t do much either.

There are rumors that the shooter, who scored three goals at the 2022 World Cup and tied for first place with another player for his country, could lose his spot on the Euro 2024 team.

There have also been rumors that Paris Saint-Germain might be interested in him this summer, if Kylian Mbappe does decide to leave the club.

Rashford scored 30 goals for United last season, which was his best season ever. This season, he may not be able to reach half of that number.
