The Swedish forward is almost at 20 goals for Newcastle in all games this season. He is the beloved center-forward for Newcastle fans, following in the footsteps of Cole, Alan Shearer, Demba Ba, and Callum Wilson. But United may need to raise money before they can spend because of financial fair play and the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules. This, along with the player’s good form, has led many teams to suggest they want to sign him this summer.

It has been said that Arsenal is interested in the player, but Newcastle’s head coach Eddie Howe wants to keep his best asset on Tyneside, and the player himself has said that he is happy at the club. Cole doesn’t think he will leave just yet, but he thinks he would make any team better after seeing how well he has played for black-and-white since his big-money move from Real Sociedad in 2022.

Cole told Betfred, “If it’s true that they might have to sell him, they will be very upset to lose him.” I really like Isak and think he’s a great player. The only trouble is that he gets hurt a lot. A lot of teams would be better with him on the court if they could get him to play 10 to 15 games in a row. I don’t think he’s played 10 games in a row.

“He went to Newcastle and did great there. He scored goals and, when he’s healthy and playing well, he can play center forward or cut in from the left. If he does move on, which I don’t think will happen, he would make any team better.”

When Tottenham comes to St. James’ Park on Saturday, Isak will be trying to score his 20th goal of the season. A little over a year ago, the striker scored twice in a 6-1 win over Spurs.
