The strategy Celtic F.C needs to adopt to win the Scottish League title for good without Rangers coming close to it
The post-split fixtures for the Scottish Premiership have generated a great deal of enthusiasm, particularly among Celtic supporters who are eager to win the championship in a dramatic manner by defeating Rangers in the derby that will take place at Parkhead on May 11th.
On the other hand, and despite the fact that it is mathematically feasible, the scenario calls for a perfect alignment of findings.
Rangers currently have a game in hand that could potentially narrow the gap between them and Celtic, who currently have a four-point lead over Rangers. On Wednesday evening, this game that is currently up for grabs will be played versus Dundee. Although there would be only two games left after the derby, Celtic would need to be at least seven points ahead of Rangers in order to have a chance of winning the championship. This is because there would be only two games left after the derby.
Under these circumstances, it would be necessary for Rangers to suffer a defeat in at least one of their upcoming matches against Dundee, St. Mirren, or Kilmarnock, while Celtic would have to triumph in every single one of their matches leading up to the derby.
Before traveling to Parkhead, Rangers will play matches away from home against Kilmarnock, on the road against Dundee and St. Mirren, and then at home against Kilmarnock. Celtic, on the other hand, will be traveling to Dundee in order to play host to Hearts during this time frame.
In the event that Rangers are able to accumulate all of their points up until Celtic Park and are then defeated in the Derby, Celtic will be required to wait until their trip to Kilmarnock in order to completely secure the championship.
