Scottish Cup semi-finals: Aberdeen vs Celtic – watch how Nicolas Kuhn levelled the match with a sensational goal (21 minutes)
After Bojan Miovski scored the first goal for Aberdeen, Nicolas Kuhn scored the equalizer to tie the score in the Scottish Cup semi-final on the other side.
Following the theft of the ball by Kyogo Furuhashi from Aberdeen defender Angus MacDonald, the Japanese attacker found himself in a position to capitalize on the opportunity.
Nevertheless, Stefan Gartenmann was successful in blocking the shot, and Kuhn was able to take possession of the ball in the twenty-first minute.
After Kelle Roos had abandoned the goal in an effort to prevent Kyogo from scoring, the Austrian winger was able to successfully score the goal by putting the ball into an empty net.
When Celtic conceded their first goal barely two minutes into the game, it was clear that they did not get off to the best possible start in the contest.
The fact that they were able to find an equalizer just under twenty minutes later, despite the pressure of being in a cup semi-final, demonstrates the remarkable spirit that they possess.
Due to the fact that the first half did not live up to the expectations that many people had prior to the game, Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that Celtic will be able to put on a better performance in the second half.
There is little doubt that Aberdeen was a source of difficulty for Celtic, with Miovski in particular being at the center of all that the Dons did successful.
