Pep Guardiola reacted to the argument that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had with Liverpool star Darwin Nunez.

Liverpool held City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Erling Haaland scored the first goal, but Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a sweet goal to equalize.

One of the home team’s goals was also called off by VAR because Manuel Akanji was seen to have fouled Alisson Becker. Ruben Dias then poked the ball home from a corner.

Guardiola, the manager of City, was seen having a heated conversation with Nunez, the scorer for Liverpool, right before the game ended.

Guardianiola was kept away by Pep Lijnders, and Nunez was dragged away from the scene by Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool.

Guardiola was asked to say something about what happened after the game.

The Echo says the City manager said, “He’s just stronger than me!” That’s not anger; I’m really happy. You ask the second question? It might be the last question. It makes me so happy. We understand how tough they are.

At the end of the game, Klopp was asked what he thought about what happened. The German coach said, “I’m not the one to explain because I wasn’t involved surprisingly!” I didn’t understand a word of it…

Guardiola told BBC’s Match of the Day, “That was an excellent performance.” about how his team played as a whole. For eight years, we’ve still played that way, and I’m really proud of that. Every part of our game was great, and we had to be against a great team.

“We might have missed the last pass a little, but they played great defense.” It’s a big compliment to our work that we only let Liverpool get two shots on goal.

After the 1-1 draw, City is still in first place in the Premier League, just one point ahead of Liverpool.

However, this has now made room for Arsenal, who will be in first place if they beat Thomas Frank’s Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday night and get all three points.
