United drew 1-1 with Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, even though they were ahead 1-0 late in the second half.

Chris Eriksen said that Manchester United should have kept a clean sheet and won after getting ahead late against Burnley on Saturday.

When United played Burnley, they got off to a good start and had a few good chances, but they couldn’t finish, and Burnley took back control.

Burnley played well at the end of the first half and might have been ahead at the break. For the second game in a row, Erik ten Hag didn’t make any changes at halftime. It was Antony’s smart finish into the bottom right corner in the 79th minute that broke the deadlock.

Antony scored his first goal in the Premier League this season, and he celebrated like it was the game-winner. But eight minutes later, Andre Onana gave up a penalty.

Once Zeki Amdouni, a player for Burnley, scored from the penalty spot, the points were tied. There were boos all around Old Trafford when the game was over.

Larsen told MUTV after the game, “We had all three points in our hands going into the last few minutes of normal time.” We should be able to win and keep the score clean.

“I still think there are some parts of my performance that I could do better.” A few of the choices I made could have put my partner or me in a better spot around the field.

“Okay, I’ll do my best. As you said, I haven’t had as much game time.” You have to give it your all when you play, and that’s what I’m trying to do.

After playing three games in six days, United will have nine days off before they play Crystal Palace. “The whole thing is going to be about recovery,” Eriksen said.

For starters, it will be strange because there won’t be any games for a week. But hopefully that will get everyone ready for the game at Palace.

“Take some time off and work out to get your body and mind ready to go again.” There’s something new about every day because you always want to play games.

“But sometimes, of course, you need a bit of a rest to recover and prepare for the next game and it depends on what the manager is going to do in training sessions.”
