Irish football coach Stephen O’Donnell reveals the name of the Celtic F.C player his scared of and most teams are afraid of playing against
There are a number of players on Celtic’s roster that are capable of causing our competitors a great deal of trouble, whether it be in the domestic or European arena.
When it comes to defenders, Kyogo Furuhashi has been an absolute terror in both the Scottish Premiership and the Champions League. He has been outstanding.
You might also say the same thing about Luis Palma, who has scored twice in the group stages of the Champions League, ten times in Scotland, and received praise from his contemporaries in Honduras.
On the other hand, Stephen O’Donnell, a midfielder for Motherwell, has revealed that there is one Celtic player he particularly dislikes playing against, and it is neither of the two players named above.
There is a “problem” caused by Reo Hatate.
The seasoned player from Motherwell was absolutely gushing about Reo Hatate and praising the Japanese midfielder for his efforts when he came back from injury earlier this season.
During an appearance on The Go Radio Football Show, O’Donnell stated, “He is a problem. He is a kind of both-footed individual who possesses a lot of energy and a lot of quality.
The manner in which he is able to receive the ball is not too dissimilar to that of Matt O’Reilly.
In my opinion, Matt is a really excellent football player, and he has been a fantastic acquisition for Celtic. However, I believe that he could need a little bit more of an end product.
Ange Postecoglou’s first season as Celtic manager was marked by an immediate impact from the arrival of Hatate, who has proven to be an outstanding acquisition for the club.
Under Brendan Rodgers, his new manager, he has struggled to reach the same level of success as he had during his first 18 months with the club. This is due to the fact that injuries have prevented him from playing as often as he would have liked.
In spite of this, Hatate has been doing an excellent job of stepping up since his comeback from his injury troubles. This comes after Callum McGregor was forced to miss a significant portion of the previous month due to another injury.
