Newcastle United F.C 32-year-old player set to miss Burnley Vs Newcastle Match on Saturday

Newcastle United is still having a lot of injuries. This morning, Eddie Howe revealed that Fabian Schar will likely miss the rest of the season.

The Swiss player looked unhappy during last weekend’s 5-1 win over Sheffield United, but he kept playing even though he felt something in his hamstring.

He was finally taken off at halftime, and Howe has said that he probably won’t play again this season. That means he won’t be in our last four games against Burnley, Brighton, Manchester United, and Brentford.

Meanwhile, Howe believes Emil Krafth can fill in for Schar, but he also knows that we’re very short at center back after Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles got hurt and couldn’t play this season.

A small hamstring injury will keep Fabian out for a while. He told Howe. “He definitely won’t play tomorrow, and I don’t think we’ll see him again until next season.”

“With Jamaal, Sven, and now Fabian out, we’re not as strong at center back as we’d like to be, but Emil came on and played incredible last week.” While playing for us against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, Emil did great in the central spot. I am sure of his honesty and integrity.
