Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo speak on his 66th career hat-trick
Ronaldo said that getting another hat trick didn’t bother him because he cares more about his team.
The Portuguese forward scored his 66th hat-trick, and he now has 52 goals in 52 games this season.
Ronaldo scored 10 goals against Al-Wehda on Saturday to hit 900 for his career. Al-Nassr beat Al-Wehda 6-0 in the Saudi Pro League at Al-Awwal Stadium.
With his first goal in the game, the Portuguese legend scored his 50th goal of the season and his 66th hat-trick of all time.
He did say, though, that his thoughts are with the team and not with solo success.
“I care more about the team than getting a hat trick,” the 39-year-old said after the game.
Ronaldo only needs 10 more goals to reach 900 for his career. When asked about that after the game, he said:
“As I always say, numbers come to me naturally, so I don’t attach them. They just come.”
