The Major reason why Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker was absent Fulham vs Manchester City match win
On Saturday, Manchester City plays Fulham in the Premier League. However, Jack Grealish can’t play because he is out.
With a fully healthy team, Manchester City was set to play Fulham. However, Jack Grealish wasn’t at Craven Cottage, which made it harder for Pep Guardiola to prepare for the important Premier League match.
City has only gone into two games this season without any injuries or fitness issues. They were looking to play back-to-back games without any problems for the first time this season. But Grealish wasn’t one of the City players who went to Fulham. Pep Guardiola stuck with the front line that played Wolves last week.
Grealish had been on the bench for that game and had wanted to take a chance on starting for the last four games of the season. After this game, City plays Tottenham on Tuesday night. On the last day, they host West Ham at the Etihad, and then they play Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
It was said that Grealish wasn’t in the squad because he was sick, which could also make it uncertain whether he will play at Spurs in four days.
As Pep Guardiola put it, “Yes, he’s fine.” He felt a little sick and unwell at the end, but he’s fine now.
Concerns have also been raised about John Stones, who has been on the bench for six of the last seven games. He had to leave one start at halftime because he wasn’t fit enough to play. Ruben Dias, on the other hand, came back after being sick and sitting on the bench for a while. Kyle Walker was replaced by Manu Akanji at right back.
When asked why he started Ruben Dias, Guardiola said, “Nothing specific.” Kyle hasn’t worked out in two days. Two days from now, we have a game, and Ruben is always there for us. And that’s why I chose that.”
